MPS Internship Opportunities: Feedback

Having just finished my junior year at Binghamton University, I had taken actuarial classes, sat for a few tests, and still felt that the actuarial path was the one for me. However, all that was missing was actual experience in the field. Madison filled this void by giving me the opportunity to get knee deep in the pension industry. I learned as I worked on profit sharing plans, defined benefit plans, IRS forms, and so much more. I was humbled at times by the amount of intellectual knowledge needed to be successful in this industry, yet I felt as though I was part of the Madison family. Everyone was very encouraging, and helpful in providing the resources I needed to get the job done. I enjoyed the experience so much that the summer just flew by. In closing, it was first and foremost an amazing learning experience, and a great opportunity to work with top-notch consultants whose dedication and warmth I will never forget.
